Check Out My New Book: Celebrating 365 Days of Gratitude!

The holiday season is a good time to pause and reflect on the many people, things, and circumstances we all have to be grateful for. The Gratitude Book Project: Celebrating 365 Days of Gratitude aims to encourage readers to do just that—but to also extend that practice beyond the traditional season of giving thanks and showing appreciation.
Celebrating 365 Days of Gratitude is a great way to remember to count our blessings every day of the year and is a testimony to the life changing power of doing so.
I’m super excited to be a part of this book because sharing my story gives hope to others. My entry was about:
Giving gratitude for my son, Ghivante Vaughn Olive Hudson. I received this gift on March 18,1982 after a long history of five miscarriages. This bundle of pride and joy came in this world via a C-Section birth at the St. Joseph Hospital, Kingston Jamaica West Indies at 5:00 p.m. Ghivante weighed 6 ¾ lbs, measured 21 inches and had a head circumference of 21 inches. Today at age 29, he weighs 300 lbs, is almost 7 feet tall and very handsome. Ghivante is my only child and I love him with every fiber of my being.
This book is full of inspirational stories and appreciation, not only for the things and people we sometimes take for granted, but for challenging circumstances and often less than desirable events.
Expressing appreciation for the good things in our lives, though sometimes overlooked, is fairly easy. But imagine expressing your gratitude for things such as not fitting in, Muscular Dystrophy, bankruptcy, or the loss of a job or a loved one. That’s when the practice of gratitude really starts to take on a life changing power!
Net proceeds from all books in The Gratitude Book Project® series are proudly donated to the following charities:
- Feeding America
- Women for Women International
- American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (A.S.P.C.A.)
These books make great holiday gifts for friends and family and the book is a wonderful way to remember to count our daily blessings. I hope you will join me in supporting these organizations and in keeping gratitude in motion throughout the year.
